Humanitarian aid distributed to 7,500 families in six provinces

KABUL: Following the distribution of humanitarian assistance the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in separate statements on Wednesday that around 7,500 families received foodstuffs and cash aids in six provinces of the country.

According to the statement, the assistance were distributed in Nangarhar, Kunduz, Kabul, Khost, Takhar, and Logar provinces.

The aid packages included cash, foodstuffs and medical packages, said the source.

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development added that humanitarian aid have been provided by the World Food Programme (WFP) and distributed to destitute families in collaboration with the provincial directorates of the ministry.

The process of distributing aids to destitute families by international humanitarian organizations continues.
