KABUL: The reconstruction work Mazar-e-Sharif- Uzbekistan railway begins Wednesday with the cost of $6.3 million, the Afghan Railway Authority (ARA) said in statement.
The respective railway will be reconstructed by an Uzbek company, According to the statement.
The project will be implemented in three months.
The Mazar-e-Sharif-Uzbekistan railway has 75 kilometers length and extends from the Balkh Province’s Mawlana Jalaluddin Balkhi International Airport to Uzbekistan.
