Humanitarian aid donates to 12 families in some provinces

KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement on Thursday that humanitarian aids including foodstuffs and cash have been distributed to 12,000 families in five provinces of the country.

According to the statement, the assistance was distributed to destitute families in Kabul, Kapisa, Pakia, Paktika and Kunduz provinces.

According to the Ministry, humanitarian aid has been provided by the World Food Programme (WFP) and distributed to destitute families in collaboration with the provincial directorates of the ministry.

The process of distributing aid to destitute families by international humanitarian organizations continues countrywide.

Two days ago, more than 7, 000 thousand families received aid in several provinces of the country.
