KABUL: Provincial officials of Balkh said that after two and a half years, flights between Balkh and the United Arab Emirates resumed.
According to the officials, the first cargo plane between Balkh and the United Arab Emirates landed in the Balkh Airport on Friday night.
The plane was loaded with the United Arab Emirates aids, said the source.
In recent months, many airlines that had suspended their flights to Afghanistan due to collapse of the previous administration have resumed their operations in the country.
