KABUL: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce leading a joint trade and economic technical delegation of Afghanistan left for Iran on Saturday, the ministry said in a statement.
The delegations consist of representatives from the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs office, and the ministries of Industry and Commerce, Transportation and Civil Aviation, Foreign Affairs and Finance, according to the source.
The technical delegation will discuss and negotiate with the Iranian government regarding the alignment of agreed-upon issues during the recent visit of Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, using the capacities and facilities of the Chabahar port and the increase in the country’s transit and exports.
The delegation is traveling to Iran while recently a delegation of Iranian traders and officials from Khorasan Razavi province visited Afghanistan.
