Volodymyr Zelensky: 31,000 troops killed in Russia’s two-year attacks

KABUL: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky said late on Sunday that 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed during Russia’s two-year attack.

According to the Associated Press, President Zelensky called the deaths of Ukrainian troops as a “great tragedy” for his country.

The Ukrainian president did not clarify the number of military personnel wounded or missing in the war.

This comes as the conflict between Ukraine and Russia enters its third year.
