KABUL: The Kazakh ambassador to Kabul Alim Khan Yasin Gildayev, in a meeting with the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Aziz, here in Kabul said that Afghanistan will be one of the participants in the “Astana Forum” in Kazakhstan, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.
In the meeting, Alim Khan Yasin, handed over the invitation letter of his country’s President International Affairs Advisors to Minister Nooruddin Azizi, according to the source.
Minister Azizi appreciating the invitation of Kazakhstan, stressed on strengthening relations between the two countries.
The Astana Forum, which is an initiative created by Russia and Iran, is scheduled to take place in June of this year in Kazakhstan.
It is expected that around 50 countries, including Afghanistan, will participate in the meeting.
