KABUL: The Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi, leading a delegation including representatives of the private sector left the country late on Friday to participate in the first Turkmen-Afghan Connectivity Conference.
The first Turkmen-Afghan Connectivity Conference will be conducted in Ashgabat capital of Turkmenistan, said the ministry in a statement.
Based on information, the delegation’s agenda for this trip includes their participation in the Afghan products expo in Ashgabat, attending the Afghan-Turkmen private sector session, as well as joint government meetings.
Both sides will also discuss the development and expansion of economic relations, trade and transit developments.
The first exhibition of Afghan products is unprecedented in the past three decades, which is due to be held with the participation of 250 Afghan traders in Ashgabat the capital of Turkmenistan in the coming week.
