Minister Azizi inaugurate Afghan-Turkmen expo in Ashgabat

ASHGABAT: The acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi today inaugurated the Afghan-Turkmen expo in Ashgabat the capital of Turkmenistan, spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement on his X account.

Speaking in the inauguration ceremony, Minister Aziz emphasized the strengthening of bilateral relations and expanding trade relations between the two countries, Mujahid added.

Minister Azizi added that the Islamic Emirate has provided good investment opportunities for foreign investors in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the national leader of Turkmenistan, in a meeting with Nooruddin Azizi, tasked his country’s officials to utilize the industrial town of Arqadan for trade with Afghanistan, especially in the sectors of clothes, precious stones, colors, and other commercial goods.

The first exhibition showcasing Afghan products in the past 30 years has been launched following a visit by a joint delegation of the Islamic Emirate, led by the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, to Ashgabat.
