Construction work on two water supply projects begins in Uruzgan

KABUL: Construction work on two water supply networks started with the cost of 8 million Afghanis in Uruzgan province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MoRRD) said in a statement Wednesday.

According to the statement, the water supply projects will be constructed in Jan Khan Kariz and Zirniki areas of the Chora districts of Uruzgan province.

 “The projects will be funded by the Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA),” according to the source.

With the inauguration of the water supply projects in respective districts, safe drinking water will be provided to more than 270 families.

Efforts are underway to provide countrymen with safe drinking water.
