KABUL: The Afghanistan State Ministry for Disaster Management said a tripartite meeting between Afghanistan, Turkey and Japan held in the disaster management sector, according to the ministry’s statement
The meeting was held with the participation of representatives from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and a delegation led by Shamsuddin Haqyar, the head of foreign relations of the Ministry.
The participants of the meeting discussed management of disaster management.
It was decided in the meeting that 60 disaster management employees from Afghanistan will be trained by Japan in the natural disaster management department.
Afghanistan is one of the countries with the most natural disasters in the world.
