KABUL: The 207 Al-Farooq National Army border forces held a meeting with the Iranian border forces, in Islam Qala port of Herat province.
The National Army Corps in a statement on its X account said that the Afghan and Iranian border forces discussed strengthening and increasing coordination between the two countries.
The challenges facing Iranian border forces in Tahana Tappa Siyah, Dogharon area and the problems of the Islamic Emirate Mujahidin in Islam Qala port have been discussed and evaluated in the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, problems and disputes have been resolved. Earlier, Kabul-Tehran border officials have also held meetings to address border-related issues.
