KABUL: In the latest summit of the European Union leaders held late on last night at the “Versailles Palace” in France reaffirmed their support for Ukraine.
Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, said in his X that they are strengthening their support for Ukraine.
“Strengthening of European defense, reducing energy dependency, and advancing industrial policy were among the other agendas discussed at the EU leaders’ summit,” said Macron.
He emphasized that the meeting, following the first summit held two years ago, continues its work in supporting Ukraine.
Europe, along with the United States and the United Kingdom, has been one of the main financial and arms contributors to Ukraine in its stance against Russia.
