KABUL: As many as 4,540 newly graduated doctors participated in the final exam [Exit Exam] of the medical council.
The exam was held yesterday [Friday, March 15] with the cooperation of the National Examination Authority (NXA).
According to the officials of the medical council, around 70 percent of the participants were from private higher institutions and 30 percent were from government higher institutions.
After successfully passing the exam, participants obtain a license to practice medicine in society.
Doctors who have participated in the Medical Council Exam have graduated from the medical internship program.
It’s mentionable, that the Medical Council of the country has conducted the Exit Exam twice a year for the first time.
Meanwhile, our country is in greater need of young and trained doctors than ever before.
