KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development put into exploitation 8 water supply projects with the cost of 47 million Afghanis in Takhar province.
The water supply networks were implemented in Taliqan capital of Takhar and districts of Warsaj, Rustaq, Farkhar, Chal and Khaja Bahauddin, according to the statement.
The projects were funded by The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF).
With the inauguration of the water supply networks, safe drinking water was provided to nearly 3,000 families in Takhar province.
