KABUL: Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, in response to the recent accusations of Pakistan’s special envoy said that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against any country including Pakistan.
Calling baseless the claim of Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan Asif Ali Durrani, Mawlavi Mujahid said: “We do not accept the presence of foreign armed irresponsible groups in Afghanistan and no irresponsible group is allowed to operate in Afghan territory”.
Mawlavi Mujahid added, that we had made full efforts in this regard, but since a long border has been passed between Afghanistan and Pakistan, in some parts there are rough, mountains, and forests, and we may not have control over these parts.
Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan recently claimed that there are 5 to 6 thousand members of the Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Afghanistan.
According to the Pakistani media report, Asif Ali Durrani made the remarks during a meeting of (Afghanistan Peace and Reconciliation; Pakistan’s Interests and Policy Options) organized by the Pakistan Peace Studies Institute, which accused India of Funding TTP.
Even previously, Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan had made claims about the presence of TTP in Afghanistan, but the Afghan government has always called their criticism untrue.
