KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement on Monday that 6,500 families received humanitarian aid in six provinces of the country.
According to the statement, the aids included foodstuff, health packages, and cash assistance provided by the World Food Programme (WFP)and distributed to needy families in collaboration with the relevant directorats of the ministry in Parwan, Kapisa, Logar, Paktika, Kunar and Khost provinces.
Efforts are underway by Emirati institutions to provide people with a secure environment and address their social challenges.
