Putin declares March 24 day of national mourning after Moscow concert hall massacre

KABUL: The Russian President Vladimir Putin, has declared March 24, 2024, a national day of mourning in response to the deadly attack on a hall in Moscow and the Russian flag will be flown at half-mast throughout the country.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed to punish those behind the “barbaric terrorist attack”, saying four gunmen trying to flee to Ukraine had been arrested.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that the attacks’ death toll has risen to over 140 fatalities and more than 140 injured.

On the other hand, the Federal Security Service of Russia has announced that 11individuals, including four main suspects in the shooting at the Crocus Hall have been arrested. The heinous attack has sparked strong international reactions.
