KABUL: A delegation led by Mohammad Khurram Agha, deputy Commerce Minister, and a number of Pakistani traders, arrived today in Kabul to explore ways to remove obstacles in transit and bilateral trade, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce said in a statement.
According to the statement, it’s expected that the Pakistani Ministry of Commerce’s delegation to discuss ways to remove obstacles and strengthen transit and trade at border crossings between Kabul and Islamabad.
Abdul Salam Jawad, the spokesperson for Afghanistan’s ministry confirmed to the media on Monday that a delegation from Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce arrived in Kabul for discussions on issues related to bilateral trade.
It is hoped that the Pakistani delegation’s visit to improve trade and transit relations between the two neighboring countries.
