MoFA expresses regret over killing of Chinese engineers in Pak explosion

KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a statement, the other day, expressed its deep sorrow over the death of several Chinese nationals in the attack on a civilian bus in the Shangla region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and expressed its condolences to the Chinese and Pakistani governments for the casualties caused in the incident.

Calling such incidents an attempt directed at weakening regional cooperation, the ministry highlighted that the regional countries should not allow the opposition of regional cooperation to achieve their goals by making the region insecure.

Yesterday, two drivers including five engineers Chinese engineers were killed in an attack in Shangle, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 

After the attack, the implementing organization of the electricity project also stopped its work in the area.
