KABUL: As a result of the second consecutive day of heavy rain and flash floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 8 people have been killed and 12 others wounded in the past 24 hours, Pakistani officials confirmed.
The spokesperson of Pakistan’s Natural Disaster Management Department confirmed that the victims were killed as a result of the collapse of the roof of their houses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to the report, the victims included women and children and floods have also inflected financial losses.
It is said that some families are also stuck in the floods.
Pakistan every year in the spring season witnesses heavy rains that cause destructive floods.
