Nearly 100,000 tons of goods transported via railway in a week, ARA

KABUL: A rough amount of 9,553 metric tons of commodities have been traded via the country’s railways in the past week, the Afghanistan Railway Authorities said in a statement.

According to the statement, 69,736 metric tons via the Hairatan-Mazar-e-Sharif port, 9,325 tons via Aqina port and 11,492 tons via Turkhondi port have been traded during the past week.

It’s mentionable, that 400 tons of commodities including dry fruits and pomegranate juice have been transported via railway in the past months.
