KABUL: The Head of the Afghanistan National Standard Authority (ANSA), Mullah Faizullah Tamim met on Tuesday with the Hoja Ovezov Turkmenistan ambassador to Kabul, here in his office, ANSA said in a statement.
In the meeting, both sides discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing the problems of the country’s oil and gas traders in Turkmenistan, said the statement.
“The quality of goods imported from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan has increased compared to the past and we hope that a small part of the remaining problems will be addressed,” the statement quoted Mullah Faizullah as saying.
Meanwhile, the Turkmen ambassador asked for specifying the standards of liquefied gas required by Afghanistan, so that the imported items from Turkmenistan can be adjusted based on that.
