KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, delivered a speech at the Iftar-banquet, participated by ambassadors and representatives of different countries in Afghanistan, Arg said in a statement the other day.
Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi welcomed representatives and diplomats of different countries, and UNAMA officials in Afghanistan, and said that the Islamic Emirate is willing to have good relations with all countries based on interaction and mutual respect.
Deputy PM Hanafi condemning the Zionist regime’s brutal attacks in Gaza and the massacre of the Palestinian people said that the attacks in Gaza are against all humanitarian and international principles and have questioned international rules and regulations.
“With the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, countrywide security has been ensured, cultivation, trafficking, trade and use of narcotics is banned, administrative corruption eliminated, press and media agencies carry out their daily activities, drug addicts have been rounded up and treated, as well as the recently forced deportation of approximately more than one million Afghan immigrants from neighboring countries has been managed effectively,” the statement quoted Deputy PM Hanafi as saying.
Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi said: “The Islamic Emirate urges regional and extra-regional countries to prevent youths’ migration to other countries, eradicate narcotics and invest in the implementation of large development projects such as Afghan Trans, Herat-Buldak, Chabahar Port Lapis Lazuli, Wakhan corridors, and TAPI”.
He praised the World Bank’s decision for the implementation of the CASA-1000 project.
Referring to the negative consequences of the forced deportation of Afghan immigrants from different countries, he asked that serious attention should be paid, as this does not help bilateral and neighborly relations.
The IEA is willing to have good relations with all the countries of the world and Afghanistan is willing to be an economy-oriented country and not to interfere in the internal affairs of any country and further urged other countries not to interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan.
He also condemned the attacks that took place in Iran, Russia and Pakistan and the killing of Chinese nationals.
