Nangarhar University students made unmanned aircraft from paper and cardboard

KABUL: The Ministry of Higher Education said that students at Nangarhar University have successfully built an unmanned aircraft using paper and cardboard.

The aircraft was test-flown yesterday (Tuesday, April 02) in the courtyard of Nangarhar University, the Ministry of Higher Education said in a statement.

The aircraft is of the F22 unmanned aircraft type, said the statement.

The aircraft currently can fly up to 500 meters and is capable of carrying up to 500 grams of weight during flight for the time being.

The Ministry of Higher Education has said that the aircraft was built by Abdul Basit Sameer, a student of science at Nangarhar University, and other students.
