MAZAR-E-SHARIF: Police personnel of 888 Special Unit in Balkh province distributed iftar meals to hundreds of needy individuals in the province.
Qari Habibullah Waqas, the commander of the respective Police Unit in the Northern Zone, said that 500 food packages have been distributed to destitute families.
During the distribution of iftar meals, the mentioned commander assured that his-led personnel are working tirelessly around the clock to ensure better security in the areas under their responsibility.
Previously, the Islamic National Army have also organized iftar for various segments of society.
