KABUL: Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement that the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi held a telephone conversation with Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of the Hamas Resistance Movement.
The acting Foreign Minister has expressed his deep condolences and sympathy to Ismail Haniyeh over his family members’ martyrdom.
“Blood of the martyrs of Gaza will surely bring color and as a result of these sacrifices, the Palestinian land will be freed from the clutches and occupation of the Zionist regime,” the statement quoted Minister Muttaqi as saying.
Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi said: “The people of Afghanistan are the pioneers of the struggle for freedom”.
Meanwhile, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi conveyed the greetings and messages of the Islamic Emirate’s leadership to Mr. Haniyeh.
