KABUL: Spokesman of Herat Governor Nesar Ahmad Elyas said that the Afghanistan-Kazakhstan Joint Chamber of Commerce was opened today in the province.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Information and Culture Minister and deputy acting governor of Herat Mawlavi Hayatullah Muhajer Farahi, ambassador of Kazakhstan and head of Herat’s chamber of commerce, Elyas said.
The reason behind establishing this chamber is to expedite the facilitation of trade between the two countries.
According to Herat’s governor spokesman Afghan and Kazakh traders are seeking to increase trade between the two countries.
Kazakhstan is one of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries that has expanded political and trade relations with Afghanistan since reestablishment of the Islamic Emirate.
