KABUL: Governor of Herat Mawlavi Islam Jar, in a meeting on Monday, with the Kazakh ambassador to Afghanistan, Alim Khan Yasin Gildiv, discussed enhancing trade facilities between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the deputy Herat governor, the deputy representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Head of Herat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In the meeting, also a series of important issues including expanding trade facilities, increasing the volume of business transactions, reducing customs tariffs and solving the challenges of traders and issuing visas for Afghans have been discussed.
Meanwhile, the Joint Chamber of Commerce of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan, in an official ceremony, was inaugurated in that province yesterday.
