KABUL: Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), said in a statement that the recent heavy rains have significantly increased water level and the hydroelectric power generation at the Naghlu, Surobi and Mahibipar dams in Kabul.
“In a recent day and night, 1,360 megawatts of electricity has increased compared to the previous production in the mentioned sections,” said the statement.
Since, the past four days, it has been raining continuously in the country.
These rains have inflected heavy financial and human losses in some provinces of the country.
