KABUL: The Wall Street Journal quoted its sources as saying that American and Western officials predict that Israel will respond to Iran’s recent attacks today or tomorrow.
The New York Times quoting an Israeli official wrote that Israel will undoubtedly respond.
At the same time, reports indicate that US President, Joe Biden, has insisted on the immediate approval of the military aid plan to Israel in a telephone call to that country’s Congress leaders. Joe Biden urged them to do this as soon as possible.
Speaking with ABC, White House National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby, said on Sunday that undoubtedly the US is undoubtedly helping Israel, but it is not involved in the war.
He said that they are not in favor of increasing the tension in the region.
