KABUL: The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, says that for the first time, after four and a half decades of war and insecurity, the Afghan people have achieved the Islamic system and countrywide security in Afghanistan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs made the remarks during a meeting with a number of Afghan personalities residing in European countries, who have come to Kabul, Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a statement.
Afghanistan is the common home of all Afghans said Minister Muttaqi adding that everyone can contribute to the reconstruction, progress and strengthening of the foundations of the Islamic system in the country.
Meanwhile, Afghan personalities residing in European countries said:” Political, economic, social and countrywide in the country is commendable”.
According to the statement, the participants said that the public gatherings in foreign countries support the existing progress in Afghanistan.
“There is no alternative other than supporting the Islamic system in the country,” the statement quoted them as saying.
It is worth mentioning that after the takeover of the country by the Islamic Emirate, hundreds of political and economic personalities of the country residing abroad have returned to the country.
