KABUL: The Chinese Embassy in Afghanistan has expressed sympathy for the families of the victims of recent natural disasters in the country.
Chinese Ambassador to Kabul, Zhao Xing, in a message on his X account on Monday, conveyed his condolences regarding the loss of lives and financial damages caused by the recent floods in the country.
He assured Beijing’s firm support for the affected families.
In his message, the Chinese ambassador said: “I extend my deepest condolences for the serious casualties and financial damages caused by the floods and express my sincere sympathy to the families of the victims in Afghanistan.”
China was also among the countries providing assistance to the earthquake-stricken residents of Herat province last year.
