KABUL: The Acting Minister of Public Health Dr. Qalander Ebad, met with Ilham Mohammadov, ambassador of Azerbaijan to kabul, here in his office, the ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation, capacity building for medical personnel in the country, Azerbaijan’s role in this regard, and some other issues.
Dr. Qalander Ebad stated that the Ministry of Public Health has prioritized increasing the capacity of healthcare staff and has gained experience in this regard through various means.
The Azerbaijani ambassador expressed satisfaction with his country’s ongoing collaboration and enduring partnership with Afghanistan in the health sector, emphasizing that Azerbaijan will continue its cooperation with Afghans in the field of health.
