ANSA returned 56 low-quality oil tankers to Iran, ANSA

KABUL: As many as 56 low-quality oil tankers, after assessing as low-quality have been returned to the neighboring country of Iran, the Afghanistan National Standard Authority (ANSA) said in a statement the other day.
According to the statement, the oil tankers had been stopped at the Mill 78 (Shaikh Abu Nasr Farahi) ground port of the country’s southern province of Farah and returned to the neighboring country of Iran for being low-quality.
The National Standard Authority has recently taken necessary steps to prevent the import of low-quality oil and gas into the country, said the statement.
Meanwhile, ANSA’s officials said no one would be allowed to import low-quality oil into the country and asked all national businessmen to import quality goods or they would face the law.
