Kazakhstan to expand long-term trade and transit relations with Afghanistan

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin in a meeting with Mawlavi Abdul Kabir Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate said that his country is seeking to expand long-term trade, transit and investment relations with Afghanistan, Arg said in a statement.

 “Praising the Islamic Emirate’s development, Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister called for resumption of direct flights between the two countries.”

He added that his country’s traders are seeking investment in Afghanistan and assured facilitating educational opportunities for Afghan students.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir said: “The Islamic Emirate along with regional countries wants to create, identify and utilize economic and trade opportunities.”

“Regional stability is beneficial for all countries in the world, said Deputy PM and called for the participation of all regional countries in large projects.”
