UAE traders seeking investment in Afghanistan’s higher education

KABUL: In a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir the Afghan Ambassador to the United Arabic Emirates, Mawlavi Badruddin Haqqani, said that the UAE traders are seeking investment in Afghanistan’s higher education and agriculture sectors, Arg said in a statement today.

The UAE based Afghan ambassador further added that as a result of the efforts of the embassy, in addition to addressing problems of Afghan citizens residing in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the distribution of passports and visas continues for them.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, also received the Iran based Afghan ambassador Fazl Mohammad Haqqani, the statement said.

In the meeting, Haqqani briefed about the activities and relations of the Afghan embassy with the Iranian government.

Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, called on Iran and UAE-based Afghan ambassadors that the Islamic Emirate seeks political and economic positive relations with neighbors and other countries based on mutual respect.

The meeting between the Deputy PM and the Afghan ambassadors in Iran and the UAE took place at a time when, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Afghanistan’s relations with various countries around the world are expanding day by day.
