HERAT: The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund during his trip to Herat inaugurated two pharmaceutical and medicine manufacturing companies and one non-alcoholic beverages manufacturing factory in the province.
During the opening ceremony, Mullah Baradar urged the country’s investors to supply their products according to the standards to the market.
The Islamic Emirate prioritizes quality and standards, he said, emphasizing that IEA institutions prioritize domestic products and that numerous supportive programs have been taken in hand by the government to support domestic investors.
Deputy PM Mullah Baradar added that the activities of Eitok Pharma, Afghan Medicine, and Shams Cola, companies will address lots of problems faced by the people of Herat.
It is worth mentioning that the Eitok Pharma pharmaceutical medicine factory, with an investment of $10 million, produces 50 types of medicine, the Afghan pharmaceutical medicine factory with an investment of $16 million, and Shams Cola has been established with a few million dollars in Herat.
