KABUL: The Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum Shaikh Shahabuddin Delawar, in a meeting with the officials of a large Chinese mining Company (MCC) said that the ministry does not allow the processing of mineral products outside the country.
He added that based on the IEA policy, they support and protect the mineral materials that are processed within the country and do not allow the transfer of mineral materials outside the country for processing.
In the meeting, the CEO of the largest Mining Company in China (MCC), expressed interest in investing in Afghanistan’s copper, gold, and iron mines.
The Islamic Emirate has called on all investors who invest in mines to process the raw material within Afghanistan.
