IEA committed to strengthening agriculture in country, Mullah Baradar

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, said that the Islamic Emirate is committed to growth and strengthening of agriculture sector in the country.

He made the remarks, today [Wednesday, May, 01] during the inauguration of the 30th exhibition of agricultural products, held in the Badam Bagh area of Kabul the capital.

He added that the Islamic Emirate made efforts to introduce the country’s domestic products, especially the agricultural products to the world countries,

“Afghanistan’s agriculture sector needs modernization, and we must upgrade from traditional production to standardized production, he said adding Afghanistan is rich in agricultural water resources, and if we utilize this national asset, the country’s agriculture will make considerable progress.”

The 30th exhibition of agricultural products was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock in Badam Bagh area of the capital Kabul.
