HERAT: The Deputy Publication Minister of Information and Culture and the Acting Deputy Governor of Herat province, Mawlavi Hayatullah Muhajer Farahi, in an official ceremony, for the first time, inaugurated a large chemical fertilizer-producing factory worth 500,000 U.S. dollars, in Herat province.
The factory as the first and largest chemical fertilizer-producing factory in the country, will produce 10 to 25 tons of chemical fertilizer in 24 hours and provide hundreds of people with job opportunities.
At the same time, the Director of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the said province Mawlavi Pir Mohammad Halimi expressed pleasure over the activities of the said factory and asked the farmers to take benefit of the Afghan products.
It’s said that the company will produce various chemical fertilizers with international standards.
