UNESCO International Press Freedom Prize awarded to Palestinian journalists

KABUL: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization

(UNESCO) awarded the International Press Freedom Award to Palestinian journalists who have covered the bloodiest parts of the Gaza conflict.

The UNESCO jury praised the work of these journalists and said that Palestinian journalists covered the Gaza conflict in difficult and bloody conditions.

UNESCO presents the Press Freedom Award to Palestinian journalists at a time when innocent people, including journalists, doctors without borders, and humanitarian aid workers, have been targeted more than others in Zionist attacks.

The Zionists have so far killed dozens of journalists in deliberate attacks.
