KABUL: Speaking in a press conference at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC), the Chief Operating of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat Abdul Rahman Rahmani, today, said that more than 40,000 analog electricity meters have been converted to digital meters.
He added as a result of this initiative, the electricity distribution networks have been improved, leading to a reduction in power losses and an increase in revenues.
In the past one year, DABS has been able to obtain 41 million Afghanis in compensation from large electricity consumers, in Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Kunduz, Kandahar, Parwan and Nangarhar provinces.
Also, in the past year, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat signed many contracts in various fields at the cost of 3 billion Afghanis.
