90 people killed, 31 missing in Brazil flash floods

KABUL: As a result of devastating floods in Brazil, at least 90 people have lost their lives, and 131 others are missing, media reported.

Floods have mostly inflected casualties in Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil.

Local authorities have stated that approximately 155,000 people have been displaced due to the floods in Brazil.

Currently, the affected individuals are seeking shelter in open spaces and on roadsides and are in urgent need of food and water.

President of Brazil, Luis Ignacio Lula said that until the rainfall subsides and the water levels recede, it is difficult to provide an accurate figure regarding the casualties of the incident.

Since, one week, it has been raining in Brazil.
