Discrimination and ethnicity have no place in Islamic system, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, in a meeting with a number of Hazara scholars and influential figures on Wednesday said that there is no place for any kind of discrimination, prejudice and ethnocentrism, Arg said in a statement.
He said that the main aim of the Islamic Emirate is to serve the people.
“The Islamic Emirate belongs to all Afghans and is aligned with the principles of justice in the light of Sharia law,” the statement quoted him as saying.
In the meeting, he said that if anyone is concerned about their rights, they should resort to the courts, as the judiciary institutions have their independence.

Meanwhile, Jafar Mahdavi, Asadullah Saadati, Mohammad Akbari, and Asef Froogh, representatives of the Hazara community, praised the progress made in the country in the past three years and called for the resolution of certain legal issues they face.
