KABUL: The acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi during his trip to Kazan, Tatarstan met with the officials of the KAMAZ Automotive Company, the ministry said in a statement today.
In the meeting, officials of the KAMAZ Automotive Company expressed their interest in resuming its operation in Afghanistan.
The officials of the KAMAZ Automotive Company asked for the Islamic Emirate’s cooperation in establishing the KAMAZ car packaging factory in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Nooruddin Azizi welcomed KAMAZ officials’ decision and assured the Islamic Emirate’s support for the resumption of the company’s activities in Afghanistan.
Minister Azizi has asked them to visit Afghanistan and closely inspect the investment opportunities available in various sectors.
KAMAZ officials said they will visit Afghanistan in the near future.
