Ibrahim Raisi’s Helicopter crash due to adverse weather conditions

KABUL: The helicopter carrying Iranian President Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi, encountered a problematic landing while on a trip to East Azerbaijan.

According to Tasnim news agency, the incident took place today on the way to East Azerbaijan.

The Iranian Interior Minister said that the adverse weather conditions forced the president’s helicopter to make a hard landing.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Health Minister Ain Elahi said that medical teams have reached the area where President Ebrahimi’s plane crashed and have prepared all medical facilities.

The plane carrying the President and other Iranian high-ranking officials crashed in the East Azerbaijan province of Iran, and there is no information yet.
Iranian officials said that they sent a rescue team to the accident site, but due to bad weather didn’t succeed to fine them.
