KABUL: The construction of a water supply network with a solar power system worth 232,000 US dollars has been completed and put into exploitation in Kunduz province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement.
According to the statement, the water supply network was built with the financial support of the DANIDA organization in the Hajji Khan Rasoul village of Chardara district in Kunduz province.
With the construction of the network, access to safe drinking water has been provided to about 250 families, as well as dozens of people were provided with job opportunities in the project.
