KABUL: Presided over by the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the 22nd Cabinet meeting, held on Monday, approved the draft regulation on the size of road corridors in the country, submitted by the Ministry of Public Works. Arg said in a statement.
According to the statement, the approved draft has been sent to the relevant organs for implementation and the Ministry of Public Works has been tasked with providing necessary public awareness in this regard.
According to the statement, installing signboards along the roads and highways is mentioned as one of the options for public awareness.
The statement also said that based on the information provided by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, in connection to the recent flash floods fatalities, and destruction, the relevant agencies have been tasked with providing the necessary assistance.
