KABUL: The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs in a statement today expressed his deep condolences for the death of Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi, the President of the Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister, and their companions who lost their lives in the aircraft’s crash.
According to the statement, the Islamic Emirate and the people of Afghanistan are saddened by the occurrence of the incident and express their sympathy and grief to the government and people of Iran.
The statement quoted the Deputy Prime Minister’s office as saying that the Islamic Emirate stands by the brother nation and government of Iran in this tragic accident.
As a result of the helicopter crash carrying the President of Iran, 9 people, including senior officials and helicopter crew, lost their lives.
